Bucksu is a 3D printed resin mini figure based on traditional Jangseung — Korean totem poles placed at village entrances to ward off evil spirits and mark boundaries. In some southern regions like Jeolla-do, they’re sometimes called Buksu or Beoksu, which is where the name comes from.

This figure was concepted by @retroworldkorea and sculpted/designed by @mancho_toys, as part of an ongoing project focused on teaming up with independent artists to create fun, weird stuff while sharing parts of different cultures that most people outside the country probably haven’t seen before.
